BANGOR City opened the January transfer window with a pair of eye-catching signings in Alex Boss and Hugo Colace.
The JD Cymru North side made a real statement of intent with two high-profile acquisitions during what is expected to be a busy month of player recruitment following the arrival of new chairman Dominico Serafino.
Boss is no stranger to the Eurogold Stadium after rising through their academy system, with the electric winger playing a key role for the Citizens’ last season before departing for JD Cymru Premier side Aberystwyth Town during the summer.
The 21-year-old found chances limited under Nev Powell this term and has opted for a return to City in the hope of most first team opportunities.
Club spokesman Chris O’Neal, said: “The owner of the club Domenico Serafino is keen to welcome local talent to the club.
“This signing will hopefully be one of many local players who sign for the club. And we look forward to bring you further exciting news over the coming weeks."
Experienced Argentine Colace’s arrival also represents a significant coup for the club, with the 35-year-old captaining the Argentina U20 squad that consisted of Carlos Tevez, Javier Mascherano and Lionel Messi during the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championships.
The midfielder also made more than 100 appearances for Barnsley and has also represented AJ Auxerre and Serie A club Flamengo throughout his career.
Bangor City currently sit eighth in JD Cymru North having won seven and drawn five of their 16 contests to date.
