BRO Goronwy ended their Gwynedd League campaign with a resounding 4-1 victory at Menai Bridge Tigers.
The one-time title hopefuls eventually finished just one point behind champions Holyhead Town after a fantastic season that also secured them the Bob Owen Memorial Shield.
Another superb second half showing was a key contributing factor behind their success, and the visitors broke the deadlock on 47 minutes when Chris Byast finished well after an impressive team move.
Things got even better for the away side soon after when a Dave Roberts own goal doubled their advantage, and they all-but sealed another win on their travels after 66 courtesy of a sensational effort from Tam Morton.
The home side kept plugging away and had a consolation to show for their efforts when Dave Roberts converted a rare opportunity, but this provoked an instant response from Bro that paid dividends on 75 when the in-form Jac Thomas diverted a cross into the net.
Their eighth road triumph of the season ensured they remained unbeaten away from home, losing just three of their 22 league games to narrowly miss out on the title.
