A TRUCK carrying an ice rink to the Christmas fair in Bangor has crashed en route.
The transporter was heading to the Cracyr Nadolig Bangor Christmas Cracker but was involved in a crash this morning (November 24).
Nobody was seriously hurt in the crash, with staff left "very shaken".
A community group said the truck would not reach the event today – the event will take place with other festive attractions in place across the city.

Grŵp Cymunedol Bangor Community Group said: "Unfortunately the vehicle transporting the ice rink has been involved in an accident on its way to the event this morning. The staff travelling with the rink are very shaken but we are grateful no one was seriously hurt.
"Sadly, it does mean that the rink won't be at our event today. Thank you for your understanding."
The group said the event, which started at 10am, will still be "a full day of festivities, music, and fun for all ages in the heart of the city."
