A MAN who was caught driving under the influence of drugs and without a licence or insurance in Caernarfon has been sentenced.
Craig Rowlands, 36, from the Blaenau Ffestiniog area, was caught driving whilst under the influence of cocaine and cannabis, driving with no licence and no insurance in Caernarfon.
He appeared in court last week, where he received an eight-week prison sentence and was disqualified from driving for four years.
PC Cai Owen of North Wales Police said: “We will continue to target people who have no right to be on the roads and put other road users at serious risk.
“In the coming weeks officers will be visible around the district for our annual Christmas drink/drug drive campaign where multiple random vehicles will be stop checked.”
