A MAN from Gwynedd is to be sentenced after pleading guilty to charges of unlawful wounding and intentional strangulation.
Brendon Lee Williams, 36, of Bryntirion, Dolgellau, also this morning (November 19) admitted a third charge of possession of a bladed article (a knife) in public.
He will be sentenced tomorrow (November 20) at Caernarfon Crown Court (sitting at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court).

Judge Timothy Petts, presiding over today’s hearing, told Williams: “The fact you’ve pleaded guilty will make a difference to your sentence.”
But he warned Williams, who appeared via videolink from custody where he has been remanded, “the outcome is inevitable”.
The charges relate to incidents in June and earlier this month.
