The AA said: “Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park is a beautifully situated, spacious family park on rising ground adjacent to a sandy beach with magnificent views overlooking Lligwy Bay.

“A private footpath leads directly to the beach and there is an excellent nature trail around the park.

“The site has superb amenity blocks with some unisex privacy cubicles, including one designated for campers.

“A modern gym and business centre are additional benefits, and WiFi is available at all pitches.

“Due to the undulating nature of the park, quality level pitches have been created ensuring stunning country views.

“A well-stocked shop and bistro offering alfresco dining is also available for guests.”

Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park said it was “absolutely thrilled” to be named the best in the UK.

A statement from its owners read: “As we approach 50 years as a family-run business, the honour of winning this award truly means the world to us.

“We're incredibly grateful to our loyal guests who return year after year and to our amazing teams over the years, whose hard work and passion make Tyddyn Isaf so special.

“Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and this recognition inspires us to keep preserving our beautiful park for many more generations to come.

“Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey with us, and here’s to many more years of making memories together.”

Tyddyn Isaf also provides pitches for caravans, motor homes and tents, while its premises also include a playground and licenced bar, and four charging points for electric vehicles.

Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Media, said: “As local travel continues to grow and sustainable tourism gains momentum, we are excited to announce the best camping and caravanning destinations for the upcoming year.

“This year’s winners have demonstrated outstanding quality along with a strong dedication to eco-friendly practices and customer satisfaction, making them excellent options for UK travellers.”
