A MAN who was arrested in connection with the death of another man in Gwynedd on Saturday (November 9) has been released without charge.
North Wales Police said it was investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a "local man" in Pwllheli on Saturday afternoon.
A male, who is said to be "local to the area", was arrested, but police are no longer considering the man’s death as suspicious.
In a statement, the force said: “In respect of our investigation into the death of a local man in Pwllheli, we would like to update the local community that the death is no longer being treated as suspicious.
“A local male initially arrested in connection with the death has since been released from police custody.
“Our officers will now be working to provide a report for HM Coroner. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the gentleman who has passed away.
“We would also like to thank the community of Pwllheli for their patience and understanding whilst our enquiries were conducted in the area.”
