A MAN has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Gwynedd yesterday (November 9).
North Wales Police said it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a "local man" in Pwllheli yesterday afternoon.
A male, who police said is "local to the area", has been arrested and remains in custody.
There will be a significant police presence in the area whilst the investigation progresses, with neighbourhood policing officers patrolling to provide reassurance to residents.
A North Wales Police spokesperson added: "We would like to make it clear that there is no ongoing threat posed to the community and we are grateful to the local residents for their continued patience and cooperation whilst we conduct our enquiries in the area.
