A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a drugs stop in Bangor last night (November 3).
Following a detailed investigation as a result of community concerns about drug dealing in the area, officers encountered a man of interest acting suspiciously in the Beach Road area.
The man made off, but was quickly detained and found to be in possession of a “significant amount” of suspected class A and B drugs, in addition to a quantity of cash.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and remains in police custody while enquiries are ongoing.
