A police advice surgery has been announced for Porthmadog residents.
North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Andy Dunbobbin and North Wales Police is set to host the session at the town’s library in Glaslyn, Stryd y Llan, on December 4.
The surgery, which will run from 2pm to 4pm, is aimed at locals who want to discuss matters in their communities.
The PCC’s office said this initiative forms a crucial part of Mr Dunbobbin’s mission to "bring policing closer to the people of the region."
Ahead of his re-election in May 2024, Mr Dunbobbin had pledged to be a visible and responsible commissioner, available and approachable to all residents.
He said: "I'm pleased to be engaging directly with the residents of Porthmadog and surrounding areas on issues that matter to them, alongside North Wales Police.
"My public surgeries are a chance for the community to voice their concerns and share their ideas."
The PCC, along with representatives from his office and North Wales Police, will offer 20-minute slots for private discussions.
Mr Dunbobbin said: "It's all about bringing policing closer to the people we serve.
"I'm looking forward to meeting with residents, hearing their perspectives, and working together to ensure North Wales remains a safe, vibrant and secure place to live."
People wishing to book a slot with Mr Dunbobbin should contact the PCC’s office with their name, contact information, and the discussion topic via email at opcc@northwales.police.uk, phone at 01492 805486, or post at Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner North Wales, Police Headquarters. Glan y Don, Colwyn Bay, LL29 8AW.
Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis, and those unable to secure a slot will be informed of alternative sessions.
