SECURITY fencing on Anglesey has been reported as stolen.

About 40ft of 7ft-high metal square mesh fencing has been taken from Parys Mountain in Amlwch.

The incident is understood to have happened on either October 13 or 14.

PCSO Rhys Evans, of North Wales Police’s Rural Crime Team said: “As a result of the fencing being removed, the victim’s cattle were on the road in a poorly lit area, which could have caused a serious road traffic collision.

“Anyone with information that could assist with our enquiries is asked to contact us on 101, or via the website, using reference number Q155146.”
