A MAN has been jailed after sexually assaulting a teenager in Bangor last year.
Terrance Lloyd, of no fixed abode, appeared at Llandudno Magistrates' Court on Friday (October 4) after being found guilty of sexual assault.
On July 2, 2023, Mr Lloyd followed a 13-year-old girl into her home in Bangor where he slapped her on the bottom.
Despite the victim telling him to stop, he continued to ask her for her phone number even after she told him her age.
He was jailed for 44 weeks and must also register with the police for a period of seven years.
PC Amie, investigating officer, said: “The victim in this case was incredibly brave to come forward and report what had happened to her.
“We are committed to pursuing violence against women and girls and will fully investigate any report we receive.
“I would urge anyone who experiences violence of any kind to come forward, we will listen, and we will support you.”
