A WOMAN has admitted burgling an elderly person’s home on Anglesey.
Billie Jo Kane, 27, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty today (October 7) to a charge of burglary at Caernarfon Crown Court (sitting at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court).
She will be sentenced on Tuesday, December 10, and remains remanded in custody until then.
The court heard that, on October 23, 2023, Kane entered a property in the Brynteg area of Anglesey, and stole items including money, a handbag, family photographs and documents, and a digital camera.
A pre-sentence report will compiled on her behalf prior to her sentencing.
Judge Timothy Petts, presiding over today’s hearing, told Kane: “The fact you’ve pleaded guilty will make a difference to your sentence, but clearly, this is a serious matter.”
