BANGOR City Stadium has signed a new partnership with an entrepreneur and social media star that could help fans get their great business ideas off the ground.

The stadium has appointed Simon Squibb as its new ambassador. The founder of HelpBnk.com is a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist who started his first business while homeless aged 15.

But he worked hard and eventually sold his creative agency Fluid in a lucrative deal with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since then he has made a name for himself on social media, using his fortune to help ordinary people with great ideas to fund them and create their own dream businesses.

With over eight million subscribers across Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook, Simon's voxpop videos where he stops people in the street and asks them about their business ideas are hugely popular.

Now he's bringing his #GiveWithoutTake movement and HelpBnk.com - a platform connecting people with opportunities to kickstart their own businesses - to Bangor City Stadium.

As part of his new role as ambassador, Simon will bring one of his iconic #WhatsYourDream doorbells - already making waves in Times Square, New York, and London - to Bangor.

This will allow visitors to ring the bell and pitch their dreams directly to Simon, who may choose to fund their ideas.

"Being involved in sports can help make you the best version of yourself," said Simon. "I'm proud to be part of making that happen and I want to thank
Nick Pritchard for bringing me on board as an ambassador for Bangor City Stadium."

Nick Pritchard, Chairman of Bangor City Stadium, echoed this sentiment, adding: "We’re going to establish an innovation centre that will create opportunities for the people of Bangor.

"More importantly, we aim to get more kids involved in sports and make their dreams come true. Simon’s commitment to helping others aligns perfectly with our mission.

We are thrilled to announce that Simon has agreed to install a #WhatsYourDream doorbell at the stadium and we’re finalising the logistics now."
