A RARE 1928 Austin Windsor was the oldest car in the field as the 2024 Walled Towns Car Run returned this year.
The annual classic car road trip from Denbigh to Caernarfon - stopping at Conwy and Beaumaris - saw the pristine model, similar to that seen in the 2014 Downton Abbey Christmas Special take to the roads once more along with an incredible array of vehicles dating back at least 25 years.
From Mini Coopers to Porsches, Lotus' to VW camper vans and Morris Minors to Ford Capris, all automotive life was on display.
The rally departed from it's new start-line of Denbigh Rugby Club displaying vehicle plaques remembering Colwyn Bay auctioneer Stephen Roberts, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
As is tradition they first headed to Conwy for a brief pit-stop before a proper lunch break in Beaumaris. At each stop the convoy attracted crowds of onlookers and fortunately the weather held for them.
The final stop was Caernarfon where the rally was met by Caernarfon Mayor Cllr Dewi Jones and Conwy Mayor Cllr Janette Hughes for the prizegiving.
