Holyhead man strangled and stalked his ex-partner

Dominic ParryDominic Parry (Image: North Wales Police) Dominic Parry, 30, of Tan Yr Efail, left his former partner "shaken".

A judge told him: “It’s clear that, throughout the relationship, you would control your victim."

Man broke into woman's Holyhead home and attacked her

Carl John ReedCarl John Reed (Image: North Wales Police) Carl John Reed, 52, of no fixed abode, entered the home of a 72-year-old woman who lived alone shortly after 9pm on March 24, 2023.

He later pinned her down on her bed using his arms, asking for money and threatening to “knife” her.

Caernarfon man struck ‘vulnerable’ partner with pole and strangled her

Barry JonesBarry Jones (Image: North Wales Police) Barry Jones, 44, of Cae Bold, hit her between her legs, leaving her unable to walk initially and bleeding for a number of weeks.

She continued to live with Jones as she had “nowhere else” to stay, but was then strangled by him.

Holyhead man found at address he was banned from

Tom WebsterTom Webster (Image: North Wales Police) Tom Webster, 40, of Victoria Terrace, was jailed after breaching a domestic violence protection order.

He was found at an address that he was prohibited from entering due to a restraining order that had been put in place to protect a victim in May earlier this year.

'Reckless' woman seriously injured herself in Gwynedd crash

She remained in hospital until May.
