Brenninkmeyer, who appeared at today’s hearing via videolink, remains on bail, but was disqualified from driving by Judge Timothy Petts.
Judge Petts, who reserved his sentencing hearing to himself, told Brenninkmeyer: “You know it has to be a prison sentence, and you should prepare yourself for that eventuality.”
“Yes, your honour,” Brenninkmeyer replied.
Brenninkmeyer was driving a BMW vehicle on an unclassified road leading from Pentre Uchaf, at the crossroads junction with the B4354, when the fatal crash took place.
A pre-sentence report will be compiled on his behalf.
