A CRASH in Beaumaris caused the deaths of three people yesterday afternoon (August 28).
Here is everything we know so far about the incident:
What the police have said
Shortly after 2.45pm yesterday, police responded to reports of a crash on Alma Street, close to Beaumaris Pier.
Officers attended along with fire, ambulance and air ambulance crews.
At 3.31pm, North Wales Police said: "We are currently dealing with an incident in Beaumaris in the area of the pier.
"Multiple emergency services are in attendance and a road closure is in place.
"We are asking people to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible."
At 5.08pm, police confirmed that, sadly, three people were pronounced deceased at the scene.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Our efforts to establish the full circumstances of this incident remain ongoing.
"We continue to appeal to people to avoid the area of the High Street, which is expected to be closed for some time."
Chief Inspector Caroline Mullen-Hurst added: “Sadly, we can confirm that three people have been fatally injured in the incident.
“We are appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident that hasn’t already spoken to officers, or anybody who might have dashcam footage, to please get in touch.

The force said it issue a further update in due course.
What the air ambulance service said
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson said yesterday: "I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Beaumaris area this afternoon.
"We sent two crews by air and arrived on scene at 3.06pm. Our involvement concluded at 4.28pm."
What the ambulance service said
A Welsh Ambulance Service statement added: “We were called shortly before 2.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Alma Street, Beaumaris.
"We sent two emergency ambulances, one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit paramedic, one advanced paramedic practitioner, one duty operational manager and one locality manager to the scene.
"We were supported by pre-hospital immediate care specialists from North Wales Emergency Doctors Service and advanced critical care support was delivered by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service in a Wales Air Ambulance charity helicopter.”
What the fire service said
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it also attended the incident.
A service spokesperson said it received a call at 2.56pm yesterday, and that three fire crews were sent to the scene.
‘The news has shaken our community’
After news of the fatalities was confirmed, Llinos Medi and Rhun ap Iorwerth, the MP and MS for Ynys Môn respectively, issued heartfelt statements.
Ms Medi said: "Devastating news from Beaumaris. I am thinking of everyone who has been affected today. The news has shaken our community here on the island.
"A heartfelt thank you to all the emergency services and volunteers who are responding to the emergency.
"I am urging anyone with information that could assist the police in their investigation to come forward."
Mr ap Iorwerth added: “This is devastating news and my condolences are with those involved and their loved ones.
“I ask anyone who has any information to assist the police in their investigation to come forward.
“I am grateful to all the emergency services for their quick response. Diolch.”
