A DOG died after it fell into a ravine at a beauty spot in Gwynedd.
Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team was called to the spot on the Torrent Walk, Dolgellau, to rescue the three dogs who had fallen into the ravine.
The first dog was stuck on a ledge, requiring the team to lower someone down to its location.

At the same time, the team helped a second dog who had made its way to almost the exact spot as another dog the team had previously rescued a few weeks ago.
Both dogs were reunited with their owners before heading off for a check over at a vet.
Sadly, a third dog who fell did not survive.
Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team said: “The rope technicians headed downstream to the dogs location and again lowered Swiftwater technicians to retrieve the dog and reunite it with its family.
“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
