A ROAD in Gwynedd has closed this afternoon (August 23) after a crash which involved two vehicles.
This is on the A496, in Barmouth, with motorists urged to avoid the area for now.
At 1.48pm, North Wales Police said: "Please note that the A496 in Barmouth is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
"The emergency services are at the scene - please avoid the area and use alternative routes for the time being.
"Thank you in advance."
