WALES AIR Ambulance and North Wales Police are at the scene of a crash in Gwynedd, with the road now open again.
The A496 in Llanelltyd, Dolgellau, closed following a collision between a car and a motorbike.
Emergency services, including police, Welsh Ambulance Service and Wales Air Ambulance, are in attendance.
Police have warned motorists to avoid the area and consider alternative routes of travel.
A witness told The Chronicle the incident took place "at the crossroads where you turn for the toll bridge".
It is understood one casualty was airlifted to hospital.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 1.07pm from colleagues at Welsh Ambulances Services Trust reporting an RTC involving a car and a motorbike on the A496 near Llanelltyd, Dolgellau.
"Officers attended alongside Paramedics and Helimed and the road remains closed at this time.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes until further notice."
