Students and staff members at Ysgol David Hughes in Menai Bridge are celebrating "much deserved" "excellent" results for another year.

Headteacher H.Emyr Williams said: “We are delighted with the performance of our Sixth Form students this year as they receive their much deserved excellent results.

“The continued success of the sixth form is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by a fantastic team of staff and students.

“We have once again enjoyed scenes of elation and happiness here today as students received their results.

“Their hard work and commitment has paid off and the vast majority of students have gained places at their first choice University.

“This was a team effort where pupils, parents, teachers, pastoral staff and admin assistants all played their part in supporting the students through their most challenging periods in education.
