A MEMBER of school staff from Gwynedd has been suspended from their role.
Gwynedd Council confirmed the suspension to the Chronicle today (August 1), adding that “internal investigations” are being carried out.
It is understood that this matter is not connected to any other investigations currently being conducted by Gwynedd Council.
The school in question has not been named.

A Gwynedd Council spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a member of school staff in Gwynedd has been suspended from their post and that the council is conducting internal investigations.
“It would not be appropriate for the council, nor the school concerned, to comment further until these investigations have been completed.”
On July 22, Gwynedd Council confirmed that two other members of school staff in the county had been suspended.
