ANGLESEY businesswoman and reality TV star Jude Cisse has spoken of her pride after her son signed his first deal with Liverpool FC.

Jude’s son Prince Kobe Cisse, one of three children she shares with former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse, signed for Liverpool after 12 years in their youth set-up.

Following in the footsteps of his father, who played for the club between 2004 and 2007, Prince Kobe also made several appearance for Wales' youth teams.

In a post on social media, Jude said: "Congratulations to my wonderful son Prince Kobe Cisse.

"It all began on a cold winter night back early in 2013 at just four years old, I dragged Prince Kobe & Marley Cisse (in a pram) to watch their brother Cassius Cisse train with LFC when Steve Lawrence approached me & said “can we have him”, to which I was astonished & replied “him, he doesn’t play football”.

"He went into the academy, took some weeks before I could peel Prince Kobe off me.

"12 years on and the rest is still unwritten… so many people to thank in a place we call home (LFC) not just for supporting Prince Kobe on his journey but also for supporting me as a single mother through some tough times.

"Being a late developer was never going to be easy for this young man but the patience and care they have shown Prince Kobe hasn’t gone noticed which we are forever grateful of.

"Last October when Prince was offered a scholarship I cried, not because I was happy (of course I was) but I felt sad - sad because I realised my job as a taxi, side line mentor and spending less time at a place I call home with staff that have become my close friends and family over the years was slowly becoming far and few.

"Liverpool FC has been our home for so many years now and Prince Kobe being awarded an LFC Alumni was a very proud moment.

"I am proud of all my boys."
