A MAN has been ordered to fork out more than £1,000 after admitting a number of motoring offences.
Richard Jones, of Pensyflog in Porthmadog, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 50-year-old admitted offences of speeding, driving whilst banned and driving whilst uninsured - all of which happened on the A494 between Deeside Industrial Estate and Garden City on January 21 this year.
Prosecutor Rhian Jackson told the court that the defendant had been banned from driving for six months in October 2023.

And while he wasn't in court to hear that ban being issued, notice of disqualification was sent to his home address and a collection order was issued for the fines and costs he incurred.
On January 21 this year, police on the A494 saw the defendant travelling at 62 miles per hour - in excess of the 50mph limit.
He was sent a notice regarding the speeding and confirmed he had been the driver on the date in question.
But subsequent checks by the police then confirmed he had been disqualified at that time, and had no insurance.
Ms Jackson told the court that in April this year, the defendant received anew ban of six months for a separate offence.
Mike Pugh, defending, told the court the circumstances were "somewhat bizarre," but emphasised his client hadn't been aware of his disqualification on the day of the three offences.

He said: "He accepts he was the driver.
"And he is a hard working man.
"Up until two or three years ago, he had no points on his licence."
Mr Pugh asked the court to keep any further disqualification to a minimum.
District Judge Gwyn Jones handed down fines of £500 for driving whilst banned, £200 for having no insurance and £100 for speeding.
The defendant must also pay a £200 victim surcharge and £85 costs - bringing his total court bill to £1,085.
He received a six month driving disqualification, with three months added on top to reflect the time outstanding on his current ban.
