The TV design guru Mandy Watkins has helped an Anglesey firm celebrate its 40th birthday.
Peninsula in Gaerwen, a home improvements company, enjoyed a double celebration as they revealed their £150,000 show home-style extension and raised £7,500 for charity.
Ms Watkins was on hand to cut the ribbon at the new extension.
She is one of the judges on the popular BBC Wales show, Wales' Home of the Year.
The money that has been raised will support St David’s Hospice as well as the UK’s first female-only charity ultra marathon, the She Ultra.
Both charities are close to the late father of the owner Ken Grayson.
The ceremony also served as a touching tribute to Mr Grayson's late father and company founder, Barrie Grayson, who was passionate for charity fundraising.
The fundraising was through a generous auction hosted by Dafydd Hardy, who raised £4,200.
A further £2,500 was collected via a raffle and additional donations reached £800.
Mr Grayson said: "It was the perfect way to celebrate the anniversary because we had a great time and did something really worthwhile."
He also said: "Today is also about the next chapter for Peninsula and the investment we have made in this extension is about futureproofing the company."
According to Ms Watkins – owner of design company, Space Like This – the Peninsula staff created a welcoming, warm atmosphere.
Ms Watkins said: "I think the extension is one that everybody would like on their house and rather than stuff it full of products we’ve made it look like somebody’s home."
She also said: "If I saw something like this on Wales’ Home of the Year, I’d obviously give it 10 out of 10."
The marathon, She Ultra, was started by Huw Williams, an old school pal of Mr Grayson, after he was diagnosed with inoperable neuro-endocrine cancer in 2019.
April saw more than 500 women participating in its first event, including Mr Grayson's partner Majella Nicholson, who is also an ambassador for the charity.
The auction host, Mr Hardy said: "I’m delighted that we have raised so much money and the contribution to the hospice will make a big difference."
Looking forward, Peninsula's sales director, Dylan Hulse, highlighted the firm's future ambition.
He said: "Our aim is to continue on the path we’re on, diversifying with more niche, high end products and explore new markets and pushing farther afield geographically."
