A PERSON was banned from using computers or any other electronic devices at libraries on Anglesey earlier this year, a Freedom of Information request has revealed.
The Chronicle asked Isle of Anglesey County Council to disclose the number of people banned from its libraries since 2021, as well as an incident description pertaining to each ban.
While the council said no such ban were issued in 2021, 2022 or 2023, it added that one person was prohibited from using its libraries' computers following an incident earlier this year.

This, the council said, took place at Amlwch Library on February 6, and related to "inappropriate use of the internet".
The ban issued to a person as a result of this applied for one month.
A council spokesperson said: "This individual was not banned however from the public library, just from using Anglesey Library Service Public Access computers / devices / network."
