A city shopping centre has had its guide price reduced.

Deiniol Shopping Centre in the centre of Bangor is due to go to auction with Knight Frank Auctions on July 11 - unless it is sold prior to that date.

The centre's website says it has more than 20 shops and food outlets.

Current tenants include Card Factory, EE, Holland & Barrett, Specsavers, and Vodafone.

The centre was sold at auction for £1.37m in 2019.

It was placed back on the market last year.

The guide price is now £750,000.

One of the key features on the Knight Frank listing is "Net operating income (after landlord's shortfalls) of approximately £181,961.56 per annum".

The area of the shopping centre covers approximately 1.21 acres

Included is an inter-connected two-storey car park, accessed via Waterloo Street, with 123 spaces.

Knight Frank said: "Deiniol Shopping Centre provides a community, high street Shopping Centre in the heart of Bangor.

"The scheme provides approximately 5,257 sq. m (56,585 sq. ft) of Class E accommodation, arranged over two floors.

"The ground floor comprises retail and leisure units, whilst the upper floor provides further retail and ancillary storage accommodation. It benefits from two pedestrian entrances, one either side of the centre, at the High Street (near the Clock Tower) and Waterloo Street."

It adds: "The property offers a number of exciting asset management opportunities, including re-gearing and letting vacant units to improve the income stream.

"The property may also offer development potential for a variety of uses (subject to the existing leases and obtaining the requisite consents)."
