A MAN has died following an incident in which he sustained chest injuries on an island off the coast of Gwynedd.
Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, June 19, police received a report regarding the incident, which took place on Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli).

North Wales’ deputy Police and Crime Commissioner reappointed
Assisted by Coastguard crews and paramedics, officers attended the location, where a 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and an investigation into the circumstances of the death is currently being undertaken.
North Wales Police is currently liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and the coroner as part of this investigation.
A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson said: "We are aware of the incident and are assisting North Wales Police with its investigation."
