A “SUBSTANTIAL amount of cash and jewellery” was allegedly stolen on Llangefni’s High Street last month.

Police are appealing for information regarding the incident, which is said to have taken place at Llangefni Kebab House on Tuesday, May 28 between 3am and 3.50am.

Detective Constable Leon-Portillo, of North Wales Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen any suspicious activity between the above times to contact us.

“Additionally, I would ask residents who have private CCTV or dashcam footage that covers the areas of Llangefni High Street, Ffordd Cae Sel, Field Street, Church Street or surrounding streets to contact us.”
