A MALE was arrested in Holyhead after being found in possession of numerous weapons, including a large knife.
On May 25, while acting on intelligence received by a member of the public, officers in Holyhead stopped and searched the male, who was travelling in a vehicle.
He was found in possession of a large knife and other offensive weapons and was subsequently arrested.
This investigation is still ongoing.

PC 3973 Roberts, of North Wales Police’s Rota 3 team in Holyhead, said: "We welcome anonymous reports as this gives us an opportunity to act and respond immediately in order to deliver a safer neighbourhood.
“In line with our force policy, we aim to ensure that North Wales is the safest place to live, work and visit in the UK.
“We encourage anyone who has any information to report this to us on 101 or our webchat facility."
