ON SATURDAY (June 1), Aber Falls Distillery in Gwynedd will act as the starting ground of the Welsh 1000m Peaks Race.

The 50-year-standing mountain/fell race traces the North Wales coast, ascending steep valley slopes and over high summits, finishing at the top of the highest mountain in Wales; Yr Wyddfa.

Located at the beginning of the race route in Abergwyngregyn, Aber Falls Distillery will host participants as they gather for the morning briefing and registration at 7.30am before they embark on their journey from 8.15am onwards.
