A ROAD in Bangor was closed due to a "medical incident” earlier today (May 28).

This was on Ffordd Tanrhiw, in Tregarth, with the road having since re-opened.

North Wales Police said: "Officers have been assisting with a road closure as a result of a medical incident.

"The road is now clear."

Police had urged motorists to avoid the area while the incident was being dealt with.

At 11.50am, North Wales Police said: “Due to an ongoing incident, police have closed Ffordd Tanrhiw in Tregarth, Bangor.

“Police are advising motorists to find alternative routes.

“Thank you for your patience.”
