If you're looking for activities to get out and about with the family this May half-term the RSPB is laying on a programme of events in North Wales.

1: South Stack Wonderful Wildflower Trail - May 25 to June 2
With spring in full swing now is the perfect time to go on a wildflower adventure at South Stack. Answer the clues as you explore the Wonderful Wildflower trail and learn more about the amazing diversity of plants that help support the rare bird colonies around this famous beauty spot.
Trail maps cost £2 each, from the Visitors Centre.
2: Conwy Nature Reserve Bug Safari - Tues, May 28 and Thurs 30
From the treetops to the depths of the pond, join volunteers to explore different habitats and learn more about the incredible insects that live there and how crucial they are to the survival of amazing local wildlife.
The Bug Safari takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 11am-12.30pm.

3: Colours and Camouflage Guided Wildlife Walk - Wed, May 29
Created for children aged five to eight-years-old, the Colours and Camouflage Wildlife Walk at Conwy Nature Reserve takes them hunting for crazy colours and amazing camouflage among Conwy's native wildlife species. They then get to create their own crafts inspired by the colours and designs they have found in nature to take home.

4: Conwy Farmers' Market - Wed, May 29
Sample local delights and support sustainable Conwy producers offering fresh vegetables, local meats, cheeses, jams, pickles and more. Entry to the market is free, however no dogs are allowed, except registered assistance dogs.

5: FunPlay Friday - Fri, May 31
It's time to get mucky with some proper outdoor play. Designed for children aged three to eight-years-old, the session will include den building, badge making and more. Entry is free, although standard entry fees apply to enter the main nature reserve.
