A WOMAN from Bangor has achieved an impressive milestone in her weight loss journey.
Since August 18, 2010, Helen Williams has consistently maintained a two-stone and 3.5lbs weight loss.
Helen is a member of the Bangor Penrhyn Hall Slimming World group, and said its support has been “invaluable”.
For her, she said, attending the group’s meetings has become more than just a weekly routine each Wednesday.

She added: "Knowing that I have a community that understands my challenges and celebrates my successes has kept me motivated and focused on my goals."
“And knowing that I can attend the group for free as long as I stay within my target range is a huge incentive.
"It keeps me accountable and connected to the community that has been such a big part of my journey."
Mo Dodd, Helen’s Slimming World consultant, runs the group each Wednesday, with four sessions at either 8am, 9.30am, 5pm or 7pm.
She added: “Her story is a powerful reminder that achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is not a solitary endeavour.
“It highlights the importance of community support and the positive impact it can have on individual success.
“Her journey is a celebration of resilience, community, and the enduring power of collective encouragement.
“In celebrating her success, we also celebrate the essence of Slimming World: a community that lifts each other up, one pound at a time.”
