A CLIMBER was taken to hospital after being rescued from a mountain in Eryri at the weekend.
On May 5, Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation were called to reports of a person suffering a lower leg injury on Crimpiau.
A group of friends had walked up from Trefriw and around Creigiau Gleision, but while descending Crimpiau towards the bridleway, one of the group slipped and tumbled a few metres.
She reported feeling a "crack" in her ankle and was unable to continue walking.

A local team leader went straight to the site, while more team members drove round to the head of LLyn Crafnant and walked up with a stretcher and medical kit.
After assessment, the casualty was given strong pain relief and put into the stretcher, then taken back down to the team vehicles.
She was picked up by local family members and taken to hospital.
An Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation spokesperson added: "We hope the casualty has a speedy recovery and is back on the hills soon, her friends may need to be careful though.
"With one of the group casually mentioning being rescued by Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team and Maritime and Coastguard Agency last August, the odds aren't great for the remaining two."
