A MAN from Gwynedd has been sentenced after being found guilty of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.
Thomas Richard Belmont, 52, of Terfyn Terrace, Bangor Street Y Felinheli, was this week sentenced to two and a half years in prison, having been found guilty at Caernarfon Crown Court of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.
Belmont was arrested in the Kings Avenue area of Rhyl in June 2022.
Speaking after sentencing, Detective Constable Claire Owen said: “This has been a long process to bring Belmont to justice, but it underlines our determination to protect our community from the harm caused by County Lines and the associated Organised Criminal Gangs that bring misery to our town.
“I welcome the sentence, which serves as a timely reminder that we will relentlessly pursue those that seek to undertake criminal activity.
"We remain committed to making North Wales the safest place to live, work and visit.”
