A NEW Indian restaurant is soon to open in Caernarfon.
Sea View will be located at the town’s harbour, and is expected to have opened by the end of May.
It will be opened by Sona Meah, who also runs the Caffe Cei café in Caernarfon, on Bridge Street.

Sona, who has previous experience of working in Indian restaurants, said: “My priority is going to be the restaurant, but the café will still be here.
“I’m a caterer by nature, so because of my experience in the business, I want to put Caernarfon on the map for good food and good service.
“There will be special dishes, and a section of English options, as well, so it’s going to cater for people who maybe don’t like Indian food as much.
“I also want to make it a training hub for young people who want to get into catering, and who want to get into the trade.”
The restaurant will welcome customers seven days a week once it has opened its doors.
There is “a little more work to be done” yet, Sona added, but he said it “should be finished, hopefully by the end of May”.
