A 36-YEAR-old man has been arrested following an assault in Holyhead last night (March 12).
The incident involved two men, and took place on Victoria Road at about 6.30pm.
It resulted in the man in question being arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

He remains in custody while police continue making enquiries.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for witnesses following an assault in Holyhead last night.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have dashcam footage from the area, or private CCTV footage, to come forward.
“Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact police via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 24000249193.”
