A SECTION of a road running through Gwynedd has been rendered “unpassable” due to flooding.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the A496 between Bontddu and Barmouth for the time being.
North Wales Police said: “Due to an issue with flooding, the A496 between Bontddu and Barmouth is currently unpassable.
“Diversions will be put in place in due course by the highways department.
“Please avoid the area.”
