A PERSON was taken to hospital following a crash in Holyhead this morning (February 23).

This was on Station Road, Valley, which closed for several hours after the crash.

North Wales Police said shortly before 10am: “We received a call shortly after 9.30am this morning to report a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Station Road, Valley, Holyhead.

"The road was closed while emergency services attended, which subsequently resulted in one man being taken to hospital.

"The road was reopened shortly after 12pm."
