AN ELDERLY cyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on Anglesey.
This was on New Year’s Day, shortly before 8am, with the 80-year-cyclist admitted to hospital in Stoke.
Police appealing for witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information which could assist the force’s investigations.

North Wales Police said: “Shortly after 8am, we received a report of a road traffic collision involving a single pedal cycle on Porthdafarch Road between South Stack and Porthdafarch Beach, heading towards Trearddur Bay.
“The 80-year-old cyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries.
“We are appealing for any witnesses, or anybody who may have been travelling between South Stack and Trearddur Bay, between 7.30am and 8.10am on New Year’s Day, and who may have dashcam footage to contact them as soon as possible.
