A PERSON was taken by air to hospital after a crash near a beach on Anglesey.
The accident happened near Porth Dafarch Beach on Monday, January 1. The road leading to Porth Dafarch Beach - outside Porth Dafarch South Farm and Cottages - was closed for some time.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said today on January 2: "We were called yesterday (January 1), at approximately 7.53am, to reports of an incident near Trearddur Bay.

"We sent one emergency ambulance and one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit to the scene.
“Advanced critical care support was delivered by the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service in a Wales Air Ambulance charity helicopter.
“We conveyed one patient by air to hospital for further treatment."
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson said: "Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Anglesey area on New Year’s Day. A team from Caernarfon attended by air and arrived on scene at 8.38am. Our involvement concluded at 9.50am.”
