POLICE are urging motorists to travel with extra care due to standing water on many roads across North Wales due to heavy rain throughout the day .
North Wales Police issued the warning on Saturday evening following the downpours during the day.
A spokesperson said: "We are urging motorists to travel with extra care due to standing water on many roads across the region due to heavy rain throughout the day .
"Driving conditions are poor on the A5 near Ogwen in particular. Allow plenty of time and drive according to the conditions."
