WALES AIR Ambulance attended the scene of a "medical episode" on the A55 in Gwynedd today.
The eastbound and westbound carriageways between Junction 13 for Abergwyngregyn and Junction 12 for Tal y Bont were closed earlier today.
This was due to a driver suffering a "medical episode", with police also in attendance.
The road reopened at around 12.55pm.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "The road was closed so the ambulance service could deal with a driver that had suffered a medical episode and reopened at approximately 12.55pm."
Wales Air Ambulance have been approached for comment.
