THE WHSmith shop in Caernarfon is to close early next year, the company has confirmed.
Based on Pool Street, the store will shut for good in February, and is currently offering up to 30 per cent off on books and stationery as part of an “everything must go” sale.
WHSmith said the “difficult” decision was made to close the store due to the company “no longer able to continue to trade viably”.

A WHSmith spokesperson said: “We are no longer able to continue to trade viably from this location and the difficult decision has been taken to close the store in February next year.
“We would like to thank all our customers for their support and for shopping with us.
“We are also extremely grateful for the commitment of our in-store colleagues who we will support with this transition and redeploy to nearby stores, where possible.”
