GWYNEDD and Anglesey will pay their respects to the British servicemen who died while serving their country through a host of remembrance services across the region.
Ceremonies are being held on both Armistice Day itself (Saturday, November 11) and Remembrance Sunday (November 12), with a number of parades and wreath-laying events also planned.

Below is a list of the remembrance arrangements in Gwynedd and Anglesey:
Aberffraw
There will a service at St. Bueo's Church at 10am on November 12, followed by the laying of a wreath from the community council at 11am at the Cenotaph (left hand side of the church).
In attendance will be representatives from the RAF, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, North Wales Police, and the church.
Bangor
Bangor City will be holding a short service at the War Memorial at Glan yr Afon at 11am on November 11, followed by the traditional parade on November 12.
On November 12, a parade will muster at the town clock at about 9.30am.
At 9.45am, the parade will proceed up the High Street to St Deiniol’s Cathedral, where a service of remembrance will take place, commencing at about 10am.
After the service, focus will move to the War Memorial at Glan yr Afon, where the laying of wreaths and two-minutes silence will take place at 11am.
Beddgelert
Service at 10.45am on November 12 at the Cenotaph.
Blaenau Ffestiniog
A remembrance service will be held at St David’s Church on November 12 at 9.30am, followed by a procession to Canolfa Goffa Ffestiniog (the old memorial hospital).
There, a remembrance service will be held on November 12 at 11am, to be conducted by Reverend Roland Barnes. There will be a reading and a tribute to the fallen.
A wreath will be laid at the Canolfa Goffa Ffestiniog war memorial as names of the fallen are called out. The service will end with a prayer and the singing of the Welsh and English national anthems.
A service and wreath-laying will then be carried out at the Rhiw war memorial.
Bryngwran
A service at the memorial on High Street at 11am on November 12.
Trewalchmai Community Council have a service at Moriah Chapel Gwalchmai at 10.15am, followed by a short service at the clock at Gwalchmai at 11am.
Caernarfon
A special service and parade will be held on November 12 at 10.45am on Castle Square.
The Rector, Reverend Dylan Williams, will take the service, and mayor, Cllr Cai Larsen, will take the salute.
Criccieth
There will be a short commemoration at Criccieth Memorial Hall on the morning of November 11.
The service on November 12 will commence at 10.45 am. There is a post box topper for remembrance, already in place, on the post box adjacent to the Memorial Hall.
Criccieth's gown of poppies will be on display. Last year, it was on display at the Senedd to coincide with Remembrance.
Corris
There will be a service held in the institute on November 12.
A number of poppy wreaths are then placed outside in specific spots and the service is attended by some of the councillors and the clerk. A total of four wreaths are placed.
The village of Aberllefenni has a monument, and a wreath is also placed there each year on Remembrance Sunday.
Edern
Service by the Cenotaph to start at 1.30pm on November 12.
Road closure during the service by the Cenotaph from The Ship to the Groesffordd, on Lon Gerddi.
Llanddaniel Fab
Service at the village memorial on November 12, before 11am.
Llannerchymedd
A short service in St Mary’s Church before congregating at the war memorial (Cae Gofeb) on Amlwch Road at about 10.50am on November 12.
The service will be led by Vaughan Prydderch and Debbie Stammers, and the main road will be closed for the duration of the service – approximately 15 minutes.
Menai Bridge
Service at St Mary’s Church at 10am on November 12, followed by another service on Church Island.
Moelfre
Service at the Cenotaph to start at 10.45am on November 12.
Morfa Nefyn
Service by the Cenotaph to start at 1pm on November 12.
Nefyn
Service at Eglwys Dewi Sant to start at 3pm on November 12.
Service by the Cenotaph to start at about 3.30pm on November 12.
There will be a road closure during the service by the Cenotaph from Nanhoron Hotel to Nefyn School on Ffordd Dewi Sant.
Tywyn
This year, there will be a service at Bryn Paderau at 11am on November 11, and on November 12.
The parade to St Cadfans Chuch will leave the leisure centre at 10.15am. Following the service, there will be refreshments available at Neuadd Pendre.
Valley
A service will be held in St Michael’s Church, at 11.15am on November 12, followed by the service at Ynys Wen Cemetery.
A service will also be held at Valley Community School at 9.15 am on November 10.
