A TEACHER had to be taken to hospital after suffering an allergic reaction in Eryri.
The teacher was walking in Crimpiau, a small peak at the southern edge of the Carneddau.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation posted on Facebook on October 20: "On October 17, two school teachers were with a group of students walking in the area of Crimpiau when, after eating some food, one of the teachers had an allergic reaction and began to show difficulty breathing and swelling.
"A hill party was immediately deployed and Rescue 936 was requested and tasked.
"As the hill party approached the casualty group R936 arrived to lift the casualty directly to hospital."
The team were called to a second incident on October 19 in Coed Maesnewyddion, Betws-y-Coed.

A young man became exhausted whilst walking; he contacted his family for help.
A spokesperson for Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation said: "A young local man was walking above Betws Y Coed when he became exhausted and unable to continue. After he contacted his family, his father called for help and Sarloc Rescue / Phonefind put him on the hillside near Rhiwddolion.
"The team leader gave the casualty a route to rendezvous with a hasty party who had been deployed, more team members waited at base in the event a stretcher carry was required.
"Once found, the casualty was assessed and then helped to the team vehicle before being picked up by his family."
