When asked by the Chronicle for an update on the school’s leadership, a Gwynedd Council spokesperson said yesterday (October 3): “Temporary leadership arrangements are in place at Ysgol Friars, and the school continues to be supported by the Gwynedd Education Authority.
“The authority is also supporting the school’s board of governors to make appropriate arrangements in the longer-term.”
Foden, of Gwynant, Old Colwyn, has been remanded in custody, and is due at Caernarfon Crown Court on October 16 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The council said on September 8 that Foden is “suspended from his post until all the investigations have been completed”.
