PLANS are in place for Greggs to open at a premises in Caernarfon formerly occupied by KFC by the end of October.
An application to open a bakery at 1-3 Pool Street was granted approval by Gwynedd Council earlier this summer.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in Caernarfon later this month.
“We will be able to share further details with you closer to the opening.”
This follows a similar application in Prestatyn, where Greggs has received planning consent to open at the town’s Parc Prestatyn Shopping Park.
The former KFC site housed the fried chicken franchise for more than two decades, before it closed its store there for “commercial reasons” in January 2020.
This news came just weeks after the branch became the target of anti-social behaviour by “out of control youths”.
A 48-hour dispersal order was subsequently placed imposed on Caernarfon’s town centre.
Greggs, founded in 1939, now has more than 2,000 outlets.
